I am currently a registered Psychotherapist Qualifying having completed my registration with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
My education includes a Bachelor Degree in Social Sciences from Brock University, a Postgraduate Degree in Autism and Behavioral Sciences from Mohawk College, as well as a Master Degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.
My passion for mental health grew when I was young and I have pursued avenues that have helped me help various people, and no two are alike. With a holistic view of mental health, I aim to provide client-centered care by giving you the autonomy, empathy and understanding when discussing your mental health.
My work experience includes working in the fields of education as well as mental health community-based organizations, where I have had the opportunity to gain work experience with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families to address various mental health concerns. I have also had the pleasure to work with migrant workers from Mexico and Jamaica as well as first responders, which has allowed me to appreciate various cultures and their influence on individual experiences.

Background, Life and Interests
I love learning about new cultures and experiencing everything they have to offer. I enjoy learning new languages, eating new foods as well as (attempting) to recreate them. Growing up in a Latino family, I have spoken Spanish my whole life and it has allowed me to appreciate the value of communication. Travelling has really permitted me to understand new things and meet new people- which is at times out of my comfort zone.
In my spare time I enjoy watching soccer, this is something I grew up doing and appreciate how sports can bring people together. I enjoy the practice of yoga and mindfulness; it is essential for my self-care. I enjoy photography-it brings me peace and allows me to capture the beauty around me. In the summer, walks by the lake with my dogs, Bella and Cody, are a must.
